Many people believe that upon our death we either enter eternal paradise or eternal damnation, that how dutifully we lead our lives determines our reward. I, however, have to disagree. With no actual evidence of a devine or devines watching over us we have to face the probability that we puny things, glorified colonies of cells, are alone; we will live, learn, work, mate, rear young and die when the telomere on our chromosomes become too short to replicate healthy cells. I have therefore come to this conclusion: life is both the journey and the reward.
